I just spent two full days at Spruce Creek Campground for a horse clinic and must compliment owner, Cary Miller-Simpson, for a wonderful experience. The campground was full yet it was never frenetic with trailers pulling in for the weekend. It is beautifully shaded and immaculate with clean bathhouses. There is a large barn with stalls and outdoor turnout paddocks or pipe corrals for the horses so everyone is quite comfortable there, with a well-appointed kitchenette in the barn for people and picnic tables just outside. Although I didn't ride, trail access is directly across the road. The owners are on site and bend over backward to make sure everyone is accommodated. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

I want to thank Cary Miller-Simpson for a relaxing two days at Spruce Creek Campground & Stables. I wasn't staying there but attended a horse clinic last week. Although the campground was busy and rigs were pulling in for a long holiday weekend, the energy was low key and it never felt frenetic. The grounds are wonderfully shaded and the campground is immaculate with nice bathhouse facilities. The barn is big and has a nice kitchenette and bathroom for campers' use and each site has turnout for horses, either in a hot-taped paddock or pipe corral. Cary and her husband are new owners and this is their first season; as new management, they're digging out from the campground's extended closure. If you're coming to Tennessee to ride at Big South Fork, would highly recommend.

The "Ice Cream Social" on True West's front porch on Friday evening was a wonderful way to start your Memorial Day weekend....what a great idea! What fun that you opened it to the public as well, so local friends and neighbors like myself could come by. People always know when the hospitality is heartfelt and genuine so you'll do well, just by being yourselves. I loved driving by all weekend and seeing you full up; you've worked hard and you deserve all the good reviews you're getting!
